Hey, I’m Grizz.
I’m new to bourbon. I’m still figuring this shit out.
I’m probably not a guy who has much business reviewing anything, much less something as intricate as bourbon.
I’m 35, married to the love of my life, weirdly obsessed with bears, like folk music, whiskey (duh), and hate writing bios.
Honestly, I’m just a guy (sometimes bear). But that’s who drinks whiskey… people (not bears), and not just critics with honed palates and fancy cellars.
I believe bourbon is something that anyone should enjoy however they want. Folks who order 7&7’s aren’t any less than the ones who drink pappy out of crystal glencairns. I believe that good bourbon doesn’t need to cost a lot (even though it can). I believe that bourbon shouldn’t be pretentious - it’s not true to its roots. And I also believe that the best bourbons are the ones enjoyed in good company.
That’s it! Reach out if you wanna know more. I’ll answer.
